Process Engineer
Job Summary:
Carlisle Construction Materials Incorporated, a worldwide leading a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an immediate opening for a PVC Process Engineer, in its Greenville, IL location. The PVC Process Engineer has the responsibility for supporting the manufacturing/ operations function of the sheet extrusion process in Greenville. This position will help lead the startup of a new sheet extrusion line. In addition, this position has the responsibility to ensure quality of incoming raw materials and products manufactured on the sheet extrusion line. The PVC Process Engineer will be a liaison with R&D for formulation management and product development.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
* Support processes and ensure that all processes are running trouble free. Products include PVC membranes for roofing, geomembrane, and other applications.
* Assist with capital projects related to mixing and extrusion as required by the Plant Manager.
* Lead quality management of PVC products at the plant, including incoming raw materials, finished goods quality and audit. Work with the R&D as well as Sales/Marketing groups to ensure product quality issues are solved in a satisfactory and timely manner.
* Oversee projects related to new technology development as well as equipment analysis.
Minimum Job Requirements:
A Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Physical Science or Engineering required. Candidates must have five (5) years of experience in PVC sheet extrusion/ calendaring.
