CareFusion Business Description
Enterprise Systems is the organization focused on our CareFusion-wide strategy to provide customers with actionable intelligence to measurably improve patient care. Our team oversees the CareFusion connectivity platform, Data and Analytics services, and Pyxis Point-of-Care verification products.

Accountabilities
1.    Develop business plans and driving innovation in the product design of IT Security Solutions in the healthcare space. Ensure continuous improvement of the Vulnerability Patching Process.
2.    Develop, implement, maintain and enforce IT security vulnerability management processes and tools, documentation, processes and standards in line with IT trends and marketing strategy.
3.    Perform engineering sales support to demonstrate value provided by solutions.
4.    Develop and execute training courses on new software acceptance testing and transfer knowledge to other departments within the organization
5.    Engage in software patch management strategy and execution for all CareFusion products.
6.    Act as point of first reference for all product related enquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues in Research and Regulatory to address any issues that may arise.
7.    Close liaison with the field engineering and sales force to assess the requirements with the market and regularly track metrics.
8.    Design market research projects to assess customer attitudes to the current product range and new product introductions. Either conduct this research with in-house staff or manage an outside agency.  Ex: initial identification of suitable partner, definition of responsibilities, communication plan, divisions of responsibility, milestones, contract with company, review transcripts and reports, and recommend action plans from the research.

Job Family Summary
Technical Product Management is responsible for providing strategic and technical expertise for product development.  This position reports into Enterprise Technology Solutions, the organization focused on developing companywide strategy and delivering innovative solutions as it relates to Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) space.  This position focuses on protecting our products and customers from IT security threats, mobility and connectivity solutions.

    * Demonstrates in- depth skills in network administration and engineering tasks
    * Articulates current market state and determine marketable solutions in conjunction with Product Marketing
    * Assists with sales strategy
    * Analyzes customer needs and business challenges and makes appropriate recommendations for future product and service directions
    * Communicates and demonstrates technology concepts and technical product direction to all levels of customers
    * Incorporates strategic company initiatives into current sales strategy
    * Identifies potential third-party business opportunities
    * Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own job family
    * Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations
    * Works independently with minimal guidance
    * Usually determines own work priorities
    * Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience

Qualifications
 

    * Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related technical field required
    * 5+ years' experience in managing business operations, business development, marketing or sales positions in the health care industry required
    * Use of all office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, etc. Use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
    * Interpersonal and analytical skills
    * Experience with managing complex healthcare IT projects
    * Familiarly with software patch management best practices
