Commercial Loan Officer

     SUMMARY Markets and services commercial loans to bank customers. Represents the bank with professionalism both on the job and in the community by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develops commercial loan prospects from current customers, referral leads, and other sources. Makes calls with branch manager and also makes referrals to the branch manager from customer prospects.

Contacts prospective customers to present information on available commercial loan services.

Determines customers' financial services needs and prepares proposals to sell services. Prepares a credit summary that clearly and succinctly describes the strengths, weaknesses and risks associated with the credit.

Originates, processes, approves and closes commercial loan originations. Understands underwriting concepts and has the ability to analyze business financial statements and cashflows.

Attends community events, sales and trade meetings to develop new business prospects.

Makes presentations on financial and loan services to groups to attract new clients.

Responsible for accurate preparation of all forms, agreements, reports and documents required to close the loan and for filing all legal documents after the loan closing.

Contacts and follows up with each commercial loan customer to continue to provide financial and loan services.

Works with the Relationship Manager Assistants to ensure and expedite proper completion of all documents required for each loan.

Monitors and corrects commercial loan exceptions.

Contacts and collects past due commercial loans originated.

Promotes all other bank services and products to customers and prospective customers.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS Expertise with banking operations software applications and ability to use PC software including word processing, spreadsheets, email and intranet applications.

LANGUAGE and COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to read, write, and speak English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

ANALYTICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of algebra. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical financial applications.

REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret financial institution regulations and a variety of business instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

The Sr. Programmer Analyst position performs a key role to deliver models and reports. The position is directly responsible in building and maintaining TM1 solutions. The primary focus of this role is the ongoing and future development of the new and current models. The candidate has to have hands on and in depth experience with the IBM TM1.
Responsibilities         Other Cognos products ie(Framework Manager, PowerPlay Enterprise Server, PowerPlay Transformer, Data Manager, Enterprise Planning and all Cognos 8 Studios)
Skills/Experience         Minimum 2 years development experience working with IBM TM1 9.5 and above

*Experienced with IBM TM1 9.5.2 is a plus , experienced with TM1 server maintenance, environment setup, cube design, and application design

*Strong knowledge of TM1 Rules and TM1 processes

*Experienced with using TM1 in conjunction with Oracle databases

*Familiar with ETL development using Turbo Integrator / Informatica

*Knowledge of planning, budgeting, and forecasting functions and business processes

*Good data modeling experience and familiar with Data Warehouse best practices (Kimball, Inman)

*Relational database development and design knowledge - very strong Oracle, SQL skills
Education Requirements         Required: Bachelor's, Accounting and/or Computer Science and/or Finance and/or Information Technology
