Safety Administrator
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Administrator will provide administrative support to the Health and Safety/ERP team. The role will offer a variety of activity including research and report writing as well as clerical duties.
This is a one year contract covering a maternity leave.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE YOUR MARK?
• Provide administrative support to the Manager, Health & Safety and to the Health and Safety / ERP team
• Maintain Canadian Natural’s safety related data bases, including data input, data capture, follow up, and analysis, preparing reports from database, track incident trends and provide monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Maintain filing of documents for Health and Safety
• Distribute Health and Safety information to field and other necessary departments as required (ie: TDG exemption permits, MSDS sheets, safety bulletins, etc); some physical activities involving lifting boxes
• Assist in the development and distribution of Canadian Natural’s Health and Safety Management System, Safety and ERP Manuals and related materials
• Research Government Regulations as requested by the team or field personnel
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Typically 2+ years of related industry experience with Grade 12 or GED
• Familiarity with and understanding of:
o Microsoft Word and Excel; Access would be an asset
o Oil and Gas industry
