MECHANICAL ENGINEER

•design mechanical systems and devices
•Develop bills of materials
•Perform analysis of equipment and designs
•develop test plans for equipment
•Lead project teams
•Participate in project teams
•Write project reports
•Provide equipment engineering support to manufacturing, sales, service, and supply chain
•Creates or reviews schematics.
•Specifies components.
•Prepares product sPecifications.
•Prepares work & test instructions.
•Supports fabrication.
•Submits documentation for Regulatory Body Certification (where applicable).
•Provides technical support.
•Performs the design, layout, testing and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices or systems.
•Performs product development activities including designs, interpretation and implementation of customer specifications and documentation requirements.
•Provides existing product line support in design activities and/or modification of hardware in production.
•Conducts engineering studies and may assign work to technical drafting staff.
Job Requirements/ Qualifications •Minimum 4 yr degree from an accredited university in engineering
•Ability to use CAD and CAM software
•Ability to effectively use design tools such as MathCAD
•Ability to use standard office software such as MS Excel, MS Word, etc
•Programming experience (C Sharp, C++, FORTRAN, etc) a plus
