Consultant

The Contact Center’s focus is taking inbound resident service calls and prospective residents sales calls and emails. The consultant will be responsible for answering calls and emails while exceeding customer and Camden service expectations. The Consultant will assist prospects across the Nation by identifying the needs of the customer in their apartment home search then providing detailed information about specific apartment homes and scheduling leasing appointments. Focus the sales call on the needs of each individual caller. Capture accurate and legible documentation on all activity, in the OneSite Crossfire system. Consistently maintain departmental standards for quality. Achieve defined productivity goals. Provide customer service support to Camden prospects and residents by answering incoming calls/emails and processing all inquiries in a timely manner. Utilize knowledge and skills in order to provide the highest possible call handling quality to all calls. Utilize courtesy through telephone and electronic communication in order to deal effectively with customers in a polite, professional and accurate manner. Consistently meet all performance standards including schedule adherence, average handling time, call quality and departmental/company policies. This is a fast paced position that requires strong organizational skills. Learn and understand Camden, customer and prospect processes, recommend improvements to workflow. Constantly communicate with customers and supervisors on assignments and meet their expectations. Ability to resolve issues as they arise with intelligent processes. Ability to be a customer service expert. Ability to assist difficult customers. Ability to handle high call volume. Proven organizational skills and attention to detail. Continually improving competencies and product knowledge. Self starter, ability to work with minimal direct supervision. Work effectively with staff members across the organization. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced dynamic environment. Ability to multi-task. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Team player. Escalate issues through appropriate channels. Perform other tasks as assigned by manager. Flexible work hours as needed by position and supervisor. Take an active role in ensuring the department goals and objectives are being met or exceeded. 95% of time taking calls on a defined schedule. 5% of time devoted to training and reporting. Ability to accept constructive criticism. Ability to role play. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Handle special project as directed by supervisor. Ability to maintain focus and enthusiasm throughout shift assignment. Strong customer service and listening skills. Ability to take initiative. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Internet explorer. Demonstrate written communication skills utilizing appropriate grammar, spelling and punctuation. Flexibility to work overtime as required. Flexibility to work various required shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Apartment leasing experience is a plus. Bilingual skills a plus
Requirements     Education level: high school education required, college desired
Experience: one year customer service experience required, multi-family/contact center experience desired
Technical Skills and Training: Microsoft Windows and Internet Explorer required, bilingual (English/Spanish) desired
