Promotions Representative

Job Description:

Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills by displaying outlined service behaviors.  Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude, creates positive energy with gestures and sustains enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.  Creates an atmosphere of luck.  Is ready to serve and is informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting.  Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service.  Checks for satisfaction and effectively resolves service breakdowns when they exist.  Promotes Total Rewards programs and card membership.  Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting.

 

    * Effectively executes property promotions events and entertainment with high level customer service expectations.
    * Identifies ways to increase efficiencies or improve product or service.
    * Delivers assignments/projects on time and completes all aspects before delivering to internal clients.
    * Communicates programs/services clearly to stakeholders, seeks their support and keeps them informed of changes that may impact the business.
    * Keeps track of existing products/services and/or progress on new initiatives.
    * Develops skills to handle increasingly complex matters.
    * Complies with and upholds company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy.  
    * Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information and finds answer when unsure.
    * Appears at events, functions/parties at the request of Marketing.
    * Greets customers as a company representative.
    * Checks guests into events.
    * Performs light clerical work to include data entry.  



Qualifications:
 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

High School degree or General Educational Development (GED) required.  Minimum of one year related work experience preferred. Outgoing and positive personality needed.  Must act in a professional and curteous manner at all times. This position is an ‘On Call’ position and the successful candidate must be able to work flexible hours.

 

Must be able to obtain a Gaming license through the PA Gaming Control Board.

PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS:

 

·         Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack and stand for long periods of time.

·         Must be fluent and literate in English.

·         Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when required.

·         Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.

·         Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
