Technical Program Manager

Within each program this individual will be responsible for reconciling the tops down market requirements and the bottoms up detail of how the program will achieve the committed results.
This will include:

·          Accountability for delivery of “product” programs to the company approved roadmap plans

·          Act as main interface between sponsoring BU and Central R&D, working closely with the Product Line Manager in the creation of the Market Requirements Document and key customer relationships

·          Develop entire program structure including organization structure, chip development, verification, and software features while supporting BU Marketing on customer related activities

·          Detailed planning and resource-time-feature trade-offs using internal and external execution benchmarks.

·          Drive generation of detailed work estimates required throughout the entire program

·          Report program progress and status internally within the company

·          Mapping the detailed plan to enterprise wide planning standards and procedures that allow for analysis of resource requirements and delivery dates for the portfolio of all committed projects

·          Resolve resource conflicts with the appropriate line managers and PMO

·          Manage dependencies and relationships to other programs and teams to avoid duplication and late deliverables affecting the company program portfolio

·          Manage issues and risks, including development of contingency plans, to minimize impact to program schedule and scope

·          Capture best practices and lessons learned into development and planning templates to continuously improve performance

·         Work within PMO to enhance the infrastructure and tooling needed by all to achieve better program plans and improved program execution predictability
