Information Specialist II

This role will provide internal client support for information, reporting, configuration and connectivity of internal systems. Assists internal clients in the development of applications, extracting and manipulating data through relational database products. Assists internal clients with hardware and software related issues. Support inquiries on multiple platforms. Facilitates internal client training. Works with various IT departments on product enhancements. Defines, develops, tests and documents applications for internal clients. Evaluates internal client requests/needs to determine most efficient and accurate method to solve issues. Obtains requirements, provides time and cost estimates, and communicates results to internal clients. Develops and maintains documentation. Provides demonstrations and technical expertise to internal clients. May serve as a trainer for process and tool training.
 

Qualifications
 
Bachelor's Degree preferred
 
Ideal skills include:

    * Working knowledge of networking concepts
    * Familiar with Confluence and/or JIRA
    * Ability to write SQL scripts
    * Strong analytical and problem solving skills with emphasis in understanding relationship of technical problems with business solutions/issues.
    * Familiar with SSRS or equivelant reporting
    * Knowledge of Windows operating systems
    * Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
