Sales Account Mgmt
CSG is looking for an individual who will be responsible for selling the company's consulting or other professional services. The ideal candidate will develop new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel.
Relationship Management & Thought Leadership
· Lead, grow and evolve the relationship between assigned account and client teams
· Drive strategic direction for designated clients, including annual planning in the form of:
o Program insights to drive enhancements and new solutions
o Deliverables with specific tactics to drive client business goals
o Preparation of meeting materials to include but not limited to presentation initiation and delivery
· Foster strong relationships with key leadership and decision makers as well as day-to-day client personnel
· Ensure effective communication clarity, internally and to the client, of solution and expectations for assigned
deliverables
· Proactively develop and seek out best practices to enhance client solutions
· Initiate, develop and lead sound strategic recommendations based on clear understanding of client's
business to include but not limited to:
o Competitive monitoring
o Industry knowledge
o Client objectives
New Business Development
· Understand and adjust current solutions to meet client objectives or budget needs
· Drive solutions to maintain and deliver current revenue projections
· Initiate cross sell and up sell opportunities based on defined targets
· Lead accounts for selected current and prospective clients to include:
o Strategy and solution design
o Presentation preparation and delivery
o Written proposal development
Operational Knowledge & Execution
· Ultimately responsible for ensuring accuracy and quality of all client deliverables from strategy to execution
· Ability to lead strategic conversations with client and distill those into actionable solutions
· Ability to enable creativity within the team to drive progressive thinking
· Work with professional services, SBU team(s) and other key organizations to coordinate all client work
· Implement best practices to strengthen team delivery
· Author and work with the account team to deliver plans/presentations, client memos, estimates, statements
of work, change orders, timelines and status reports
· Assist in the preparation of project status reports and hold project status meetings with internal and
external team members
Financial Management
· Develop, monitor and maintain annual budgets in support of overall client relationship
· Draft, manage and ensure contract compliance documents and reconciliations
· Monitor and address project profitability
· Ensure appropriate staffing levels for current and prospective work
· Accurately capture and communicate project revenue
· Accountable to meet revenue targets
· Effectively work with legal and upper management with contract negotiation and execution
