We have an immediate need for a Web Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for an ambitious creative technologist interested in pushing technical and creative boundaries in digital marketing. This hacker-tinkerer-maker will have an untamed curiosity and interest in telling stories through code, by building breakthrough ads & experiences across all media. In this role, you're expected to innovate, and hopefully, the work will have as much impact in the history of creativity as Clients products have in technology.

Position requires design & development of server-side/backend solutions to deliver interactive content for consumer facing mobile / webapps and digital ad experiences, including performance optimization and scalability. You will be playing with multiple platforms and technologies, so be prepared to leave your comfort zone.


Responsibilities:

Concept & prototype interactive demos that work across devices / screens

Write server-side code for web-based applications, and implement robust high-volume production environment

Experiment with various web APIs, libraries and emerging technologies to generate new concepts and experiential UIs

Implement concepts within client’s display, mobile and video advertising platforms & frameworks

Work with some of the leading designers, writers, film makers, programmers and creative tinkerers in the industry to generate groundbreakings idea in digital marketing.

Requirements:

BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent#.

5+ years experience in related position

Expertise in designing databases and and integrating with webapps #MySQL, MongoDB#
Ninja-level knowledge of server side technologies #Node.Js, Python, Django, PHP, etc.#

Experience with deployment on AppEngine #Java and/or Python#, and other cloud-computing services

Experience with front-end technologies #JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, WebGL, AS3, etc.#

Track-record of original and breakthrough work -- creative and technical

Ability to thrive in a rapid paced environment on multiple projects in a scrappy, start-up atmosphere

Preferred Skills:

Ability to work with Adobe Creative Suite # InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
Exposure to, and knowledge of UX and HCI best practices

Interest in hardware hacking, multi-touch interfaces, curiosity in gadgets and inventions

Ability to learn and adapt quickly as you experiment with creative concepts & technical implementations
