We have an immediate need for a Process & Training Coordinator (Legal Dept)

Job Description:

Process & Training Coordinator opening within legal department on client site in downtown Houston, TX. No per diem; no relocation. Long-term assignment.

Required Skills / Competencies:
-Minimum of two years or more of professional related work experience.
-Must be proficient in Sharepoint, Teamshare, Excel, Word, and Power Point. Experience with SAP, Corpedia, SAI (or other 3rd party training or internal Learning Management systems) is beneficial.
-Able to manage projects
-Able to prioritize tasks
-Able to function as a team player. Effective interpersonal communications skills (verbal and written).
-Strong problem-solving skills (i.e., critical and evaluative thinking).
-Demonstrate ability to be a self-starter and self-managed.
-Capable of effectively managing multiple projects and priorities.
-Demonstrate unquestionable ethics.
-Four year college degree is preferred.
-Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages would be beneficial.

Position Description

Basic Purpose/Accountabilities:
To assist in effectively implementing and maintaining a legal compliance program on behalf of client in support of corporate business units located in more than thirty different countries. Serve to support the company with regard to its legal compliance processes and training. This position will report to the Senior Compliance Counsel and interact regularly with company legal counsel, operations personnel, employees and third party vendors.

Areas of Responsibility:
-In general, establish and maintain databases to deliver and track information concerning the company's legal compliance function including but not limited to the company's EthicsPoint helpline, code of conduct, various policies, annual certifications, training, agents, joint venture partners, and other third parties as required.
-Serve as a conduit for collecting and disseminating legal compliance data from and to impacted personnel.
-Develop legal compliance materials and systems to most effectively achieve Compliance Department objectives.
-Establish and maintain database containing training data.
-Monitor compliance mailboxes
-Establish and maintain website/database for various company policies
-Establish and maintain databases for conflicts of interest, gifts, entertainment and travel, agents, joint venture partners, and other third parties as required.
-Provide data for inclusion in presentations for the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership as required.
-Interface actively with Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Internal Audit and IT to identify and establish systems and processes to deliver and track relevant data as requested.
-Maintain all documentation related to legal compliance activities.
-Demonstrate pro-active teaming capabilities when assigned to group efforts.
-Actively support management direction.
