Job Description:

Solution Architect (Data Centers)
CDI is currently recruiting a Senior Solutions Architect for a long-term contract position. We are looking for candidates with specific Data Center and Data Center co-location program experience. Candidates will require a strong skill set in large data center operations to include all domains, data, network and optimization. Due to ITAR compliance, only U.S. Persons as defined by the ITAR regulations will be considered

Our ideal candidate will have experience with the following;

Overall Leadership Skill setâ€¦ Manages Master schedule and ensures repeatable process and best practice methodology. Tools including; Capacity Planner OpNet, Shunra, Commvault, Zerto, Platespin, ADDM, nLyte, HP Monitoring tools Cisco Network devices VMWare, Vmotion

Network and Applications Performance Analysis (Bandwidth & Latency)

Common Requirements

Works closely with the company Leads to ensure repeatable process and best practice methodology is utilized.

Works closely with Core Team to ensure that the DCâ€™s are capable of accepting these migrated systems.

Provides technical guidance and supports the company MoveGroup PM, Application SMEs & Ops in all phases of the migration driving a successful execution.

Provides migration planning leadership to determine strategies and technologies to support.

Will work closely with project management to ensure delivery of the project.

Will have a wide knowledge base of network, monitoring and application tools.

Will provide strong problem resolution and root- cause analysis skills.

Will complete deliverables such as Discovery and Execution Run Books.

Ensures that all technical guidelines and artifacts prescribed by migrations core team will be adhered to and generated.

Ensures the delivery of the applications and architectures, analysis, design, and migration execution packages.

Experience with discovery tools, data movement SW and Migration Strategies
Supports the centralized migrations database by ensuring data quality and integrity through-out lifecycle.
