Manager Point of Sale

This position is accountable for maximizing SNI subscriber growth and revenue by developing, analyzing and implementing Point of Sale marketing strategies in affiliate customer service and sales support centers.
1.  Educate and motivate Affiliate’s Customer Contact Personnel (CCP)
Educate:  Train on Showtime, The Movie Channel, Flix and Smithsonian Channel product offerings. In addition, highlight the features/benefits of SNI’s advanced product offerings; Showtime Anytime, VOD & HD.
Motivate:  Create and implement sales incentive contests, sales days, sweepstakes, CCP recognition programs and in-system events, at the point-of-sale to influence SNI sales and grow the business.
2.  Implement SNI sales and marketing strategies/tactics at point-of-sale
Maximize the strategic use and effectiveness of SNI multi-premium campaigns, system packaging, PPV events, previews, incentives, national CCP contests, corporate training programs and other identified opportunities at the point-of-sale as they pertain to individual systems.
Maintain a thorough understanding of all sales/marketing plans and develop, negotiate and implement strategic POS marketing plans that overlay these plans and deliver on budgeted subscriber and revenue goals.
3.  Financial Responsibility
Manage and oversee Point of Sale financial activity such as the travel & entertainment budget, premium budget, incentive costs, Point of Sale marketing materials and other operational activities.
Submit detailed incentive description reports for senior management approval that highlights the following: CPS (cost per sale), ICPS (incremental cost per sale), ROI, number of SNI sales and incentive promotion plan.
4.  Analysis
Provide on-going analysis of all training and incentive program effectiveness.  Assess CCP demand and effectiveness of SNI product trainings, POP displays and all other sales collateral used at the point of sale.
Provide on-going analysis of account point of sale activity; understand revenue deals; monitor connect activity, subscriber growth and market share. Assess effectiveness of incentives by conducting rigorous R.O.I. analysis to insure POS marketing activity is exceeding incentive goals.
5.  Competitive Information
Report point-of-sale competitive information and activity to appropriate Key Account and Corporate Departments.
Demonstrate a high degree of knowledge of competitive programming, program models, strategy and activity within key call centers and utilize that information to secure SNI’s positioning in sales and targeted packages.
6.  Administrative
Prepare and submit weekly itinerary reports, training manifests, T&E reports and other key account and/or corporate reports on a timely basis.
