Head of CRM CoE Service Delivery

Overview The CRM COE delivers CRM solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM. We service all parts of Barclays, providing solutions to Barclays Capital, Barclays Corporate, Barclays Wealth, Retail and Business Banking and Barclays Group. The team currently works from London, Singapore, New York and Pune with the majority of people based in London and Pune. Within the CRM CoE, the Service Delivery function is responsible for the project management and delivery of the CRM solutions. Main Duties This is a very important role for the CRM CoE. As the head of Service Delivery in Pune, this person would be responsible for the project management and delivery of a number of CRM projects run entirely from Pune. In addition, the deliveries that are managed from London and New York require a local project management presence to help coordinate the development and testing teams in Pune who are staffed on the projects. The Pune Service Delivery head would be required to manage and shape the existing PM and BA resources in the location, to form a team with structure and autonomy to deliver projects to Barclays business groups globally with minimal oversight. Main Function Building and managing a team of technical project managers and business analysts, comprising a mix of Barclays staff and consultants from preferred suppliers. Across a number of small to medium size CRM deliveries, manage the full project lifecycle from project inception through to delivery and ultimately handing over to the run functions. (As the team grows in size and experience, large flag-ship CRM projects can also be run entirely in Pune by this team.) Providing PM oversight for development and testing teams where the PM is based in London and New York. This can include the project management of specific deliveries within those larger programmes of work. Building relationships (primarily over the phone, but some travel expected) with business stakeholders / customers of the CoE, in the context of project delivery, requirements gathering, issue resolution etc. Establish a factory model for delivery of small-to-medium size CRM projects, whereby different businesses across Barclays can receive bespoke CRM solutions in very aggressive timescales. Work effectively with colleagues in various different offices and time zones globally or planning, strategy and architectural topics, and to represent and promote the Pune office and its contribution at all times in this global forum. This role will report to the Head of Service Delivery within the CRM CoE. Person Requirements 1. Experience of working in a large financial institution is essential. 2. Extensive experience of CRM system delivery (ideally using Microsoft Dynamics) 3. Demonstrable experience of leading / managing more junior staff. 4. Strong interpersonal skills with clients / stakeholders, and ability to manage conflicts. 5. Excellent communication skills in general. 6. Strong team ethic. 7. Strong project management skills with a history of successful (CRM) deliveries. Direct experience of agile development techniques is highly desirable. 8. Ability to lead and inspire others, and maintain a positive outlook during difficult times. 9. Strong ownership of work ability to drive issues pro-actively and pragmatically to a satisfactory conclusion. 10. Good organizational / administrative skills. 11. Good knowledge of standard office tools Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project, Visio etc 12. A strong technical background, either as a developer or business analyst.
