HR Services Operations Excellence - Specialist

Amazon is seeking a talented analyst to join our HR Shared Services team. As part of this team, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to develop and implement world class HR processes. As an HRS Operations Excellence Specialist, you will act as the subject matter expert for HR metrics, methods and analytics with a focus on optimizing operational processes. Youll devise metrics and analyses to address functional and departmental issues. Responsibilities include: Analyze processes and related datasets, create and update reports to better illustrate HR Operations trends Performs quantitative analysis of key process indicators to identify opportunities for process improvement. Implement using KAIZEN and LEAN methodologies for all quick hit ideas. Interpret and translate the benefits to Businesses Baseline current performance and recommend metrics that would most greatly enable positive business outcomes. Develop forecasting tools in support of team staffing considering the volume trend and HR initiatives. Manage, automate, and deliver standard reports to a wide range of stakeholders, create standardized dashboard analytics for HR and business leaders, perform ad-hoc analyses as needed to support business goals. Help drive site communication, including project updates and other initiatives through approved site communication plan Shadow the work processed by different skills and identify opportunities for productivity improvements and build efficiency Cost out our work (US vs. India) and recommend consolidation or cost improvements and efficiencies This role offers an opportunity to influence business-critical decisions that will keep the cost of providing HR Services to a minimum, while we continue to increase the quality and speed at which we deliver to our customers. Basic Qualifications: Experience creating tools and models to interpret and analyze large data sets Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PeopleSoft, or similar HR systems Strong proficiency in applying Statistical analysis by using tools viz Minitab, Statistica etc Experience analyzing data and communicating the results to business leaders Excellent written and verbal communication skills 5+ years experience in an analysis role with progressively increasing responsibility Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or other quantitative fields such as Mathematics, or Statistics Six Sigma Green Belt Certified Preferred Qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate detailed information to internal and external customers Extremely strong analytical and quantitative skills and a track record for planning, doing and auditing work Detail driven with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture Strong sense of accountability and sound personal judgment with the capacity to handle confidential information and escalate issues effectively Proactive and forward-thinking attitude and creative problem-solving ability Able to use existing data sources to model trends and communicate findings within a matrixed environment, able to create forecasting spreadsheets to support business planning Expert at optimizing processes and training others to use resultant data successfully Salary: Not Disclosed by Recruiter Industry: IT-Software / Software Services Functional Area: HR, Recruitment, Administration, IR Role Category: Other Role: Other Education: (UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization) OR (PG - Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization, Post Graduation Not Required) AND ( Doctorate - Doctorate Not Required) Please refer to the Job description above
