Operations Manager Position

Will be responsible to independently run the day to day operations and ensure service delivery as per SLA. The person will interact with Amazon internal customers across the globe and ensure program outcomes are delivered as defined. Will work with peer Engineering teams to support superior program outcomes and process efficiencies through technical innovation. The role will involve - Supervision and management of team and individual performance. - Ensuring high quality delivery. -Planning tasks, capacity/effort and timeline estimation and ensuring on-time delivery. -Metrics management. - Defining and improving productivity goals and delivering productivity benefits. - Interacting regularly with stakeholders/internal clients and delivering as per client expectations. -Drive implementation of key operational excellence initiatives such as lean, kaizen, six sigma etc -Hiring, training and developing the best. Qualifications: A Bachelors degree or higher with 6+ years of experience. 2+ years of people management experience in operations setup. Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment. Good systems knowledge MBA degree will be an added advantage.
