Master of Industrial and Labor Relations
Labor relations programs are widely available under the umbrella of various departments, including human resources, industrial and labor relations or business administration. While graduate degrees are needed for advanced levels of employment, bachelor's degrees and certificate programs qualify students for entry-level positions. Programs at the baccalaureate level in labor relations provide a broad introduction to the social sciences in the first two years and allow some customization during the junior and senior years. Students learn about the issues of people and their work in contemporary society. The courses within a labor relations program teach students strategies to overcome the problems encountered in the workplace.
