Bachelor of Information Systems
A management information systems (MIS) degree provides students with comprehensive knowledge involving computers, business information systems and managerial concepts. Graduates are able to find careers building, designing and implementing computer systems into companies and organizations to meet their business needs. MIS focuses on the role that computers play in human settings. A bachelor's degree in MIS emphasizes both business and technical skills, and students learn to work with non-technical co-workers to interpret the problems and needs within a company. The curriculum teaches students to maintain, manipulate and control information and data in business settings.
