Bachelor of Clinical Science

Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science programs provide students with education in lab sciences, while preparing them for national certification exams. Graduates of bachelor's programs are qualified for medical technologist or clinical lab technologist careers, or they may choose to pursue additional education. The 4-year clinical laboratory science program prepares students for entry-level careers as technologists and scientists in medical and diagnostic laboratories. The National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (www.naacls.org) accredits these programs. Students develop skills in research, testing and administration. They explore hematology, immunohematology, molecular diagnostics and toxicology.
