Master of Science in Tourism Management
These programs can cover the fundamentals of the tourism and hospitality industries, including food service, tourism economics and legal issues. Students can gain management skills critical to tourism and hospitality establishments and graduate with basic hospitality and tourism entrepreneurship skills. They can also learn to develop marketing strategies within a viable business plan. Some schools allow students to specialize in areas such as travel and tourism, conference management or hotel administration.
